As you guys know, this year I’ve been wanting to focus on
staying active. I do not like to work out but since I lived in Austin I
realized that doing something does improve my mood a lot. This year I was
basically tricked by my friends to start working out and now I am hooked. But
the only workout that I truly enjoy I found it here in Minneapolis and it is
called Alchemy 365. It is a mix of power yoga for warm-ups and cool-downs and
10 mins of very intense actual workout (I call it soft core CrossFit).
I don’t have a lot of time to dedicate to exercising, which
is why this 50 min work out is just perfect and I have truly seen the benefits
of it. All this transformation has led me to think about my workout gear and
outfits. To me it is very important that the clothes move with me seamlessly and
that I don’t have to worry about rearranging them in the middle of the workout.
I recently got to try the prAna clothing and this top was one of my favorites.
The fabric is so light and breathable and it has a built-in sports bra perfect
to just put on and get to it. I love the detail on the back, while it gives
more ventilation it also looks super cute.
One of my other favorite pieces was these pants. I love how versatile
they are! They are the perfect joggers that you could dress up or dress down.
And by dressing up I mean leather jacket, statement necklace and some nice
kicks or heels. I guess this is what they call the “athleisure” trend, and I honestly
dig it. Perfect to be done with a work out and go to brunch with your girls
afterwards.
