You guys have asked me so much about this dress. And well, the story is a little embarrassing but here it goes:
I've been eyeing this off red polka dot dress and had it on my Pinterest board for quite some time. When I finally decided to buy it, well the price was a little more than I wanted to pay. If you know me, you know Im into cheap fashion. Yes, I do get certain pieces every now and then that may be over $100 but the bulk of my wardrobe is not.
So, I decided to keep looking and of course I ended up finding it at some Chinese shady website. You guys already know that I do buy stuff from Romwe and Shein a lot and for the most part everything I've ordered has been pretty good. But this site was even more shady. Anyway I wanted the dress and it was a whole lot less than the Revolve one. Of course they stole the photos from bloggers and influencers that were wearing in fact the Revolve dress. Since it was cheap I figure, well why not.
Four weeks passed by and I completely forgot about the dress. Maybe on week 6th I got a package and I did not remember ordering it. I get random packages from brands from time to time so I figure that's what it was. But then something on the back of my head remembered that I had ordered it but even the fabric was nothing like what I imagined. I was borderline horrified to pull it out of the tiny bag it came on.
I finally did and just laughed and said to myself "well, that's what I get for being cheap" and put it back into the bag and put it to the side to later on throw it away. Later on, I told my husband about it and he said "well try it on!" I immediately said no, thinking that it wasn't even worth it. He kept saying to try it on and I gave in. To my surprise I liked the fit! I still hate the fabric but the fit is nice.
I decided to put together a little list of dresses similar to this one that while may be a little pricey I'm sure it is much better than the one I got.
