This past weekend I had the opportunity to finally go to the Uptown Art Fair here in Minneapolis. I had heard quite a lot about it last year so I was definitely looking forward to go this year. It truly did not disappoint! From canvases, bird houses and greeting cards we got to see so many cool stuff.
One of my fave tents was this one by Hallmark's Studio Ink Collection. I think written cards and notes are truly a lost art and honestly nothing says you care more than a mailed card! That was my favorite part of the experience because they had a big wall full of their cards, where you could choose as many as you wanted, then go to a little station to fill it out and place it on a small mailbox where they would mail it for you! how adorable!
I also got a chance to be interviewed by the Studio Ink team and they asked me which ones were my favorites and why. I chose the spicy tuna card for my hubby (inside joke but he love spicy tuna sushi rolls) and then another card for my sister who lives in Baltimore just to remind her how much I love her and how much she means to me. You may be wondering why are these cards so special? Well, greeting cards to me used to be something for special occasions but what I love about this ones is that they are not cheesy at all but rather fun quirky and just because messages which I really liked.
