I am was lucky enough to partner up with Heifer International a couple of weeks back. Heifer International is an organization that is determined to end hunger and poverty. They also strive to preserve the heritage and history of rural farmers and artisans while also providing them with resources and training to help them improve their lives.
They sent me this gorgeous handmade scarf to spread the voice about the great mission they have and are committed to do. This scarf comes all the way from Marcapata, Perú and it is done by hand, using fiber from alpacas that they raise themselves.

Hace un par de
semanas tuve la suerte de poder trabajar con una organización llamada Heifer International.
Son una organización que tiene como misión acabar con el hambre y la pobreza.
Ellos trabajan con artesanos y agricultores. Parte de su trabajo es preservar su
historia y herencia, al mismo tiempo les ofrecen recursos y entrenamiento para
ayudarlos a que mejoren su calidad de vida.
Me mandaron esta bufanda espectacular
para ayudarlos a pasar la voz acerca de su misión y el trabajo que realizan en
Latino América. Esta bufanda fue hecha a mano y viene desde Marcapata, Perú y
esta hecha con fibras de alpacas que los mismos artesanos crían.
