Summer oh summer! I forgot how much I loved warm weather. Minneapolis
weather has been nothing but beauty. It has some days that can get to be as
humid as Miami, but that may be 1 day out of the month. The rest of the days it’s
a warm breeze, mid 80s and sunny. All you ever want to do is be outside until
sunset (around 9:40 pm!) and either be on one of the lakes, hiking or laying by
the pool.
Speaking of pool; I wanted to do a blog post about
swimsuits. I have been addicted to them and I completely blame Miami for it.
No, I did not go to the beach all the time (unfortunately) but somehow, I
started a swimsuit collection.
I want to show you 3 styles that I am crushing on lately. But first, keep in mind that I will not tell you what works best with what shape of body. I believe
that you should wear whatever makes you happy, confident and most of all comfortable.
When you are feeling classic: The one piece
I think a one piece looks much sexier on a woman than a
bikini. It has such a timeless, classic shape that I think it is flattering on
everyone. Specially this off-the-shoulder ruffle swimsuit! It is flirty, fun
and classy. For some reason, I feel older when I wear a one piece so I paired
it with a denim short to give it a younger look. I am also loving the big beach hat trend so I added this one that has the perfect amount of rim size as
well as the colorful embroidery.
When you are feeling the boho vibes: The strapless
Another classic staple with a sexier twist. Strapless
bikinis are my go-to every time. I don’t like the tanning lines from regular
bikinis (even though I have the lines on the photos!). I’ve had this for a
while now but it is one of my favorites! Not only fits me perfectly but I love
the earthy colors that also help accentuate my tan - I have a tan you guys!. To add to the boho vibes
that it already has, I paired it with this gorgeous skirt with a floral pattern
and a side slit. And lastly I wanted to add some drama to the look by adding these beautiful statement earrings. Perfect for beach days!
When you are feeling a little risky: The wrap bikini
This piece has had SO many compliments since I got it last
year! And it truly feels like the style it’s still on demand. The fun jungle print and the wrap around look are the perfect combo. Since this look
was a lot more fun, I wanted to keep the fun going with this tunic with
colorful and bright tassels, yes, I am still obsessed with tassels ;)
Let me know on the comments below which on is your favorite!

ReplyDeleteOmg all your swimming suits are all so pretty! I love the off-the-shoulder one but I always wonder if it makes it more difficult to swim in. I definitely need to go and just try one on, lol! :)
