Blogversary: Miles + Smiles Turns 2!

What a journey it has been! It feels like it was yesterday that while eating BBQ ribs at Shorty's in Miami that my husband and I came to the realization that I had so much to say to the world and so Miles + Smiles was born.

The blog has been transforming with me as my life keeps changing. It started as a long distance relationships blog, then into a wedding blog and now beauty and fashion have taken a big part of it. I don't like to call my self a fashion blogger, or a beauty blogger because I don't consider myself an "expert" in either of those. I want to tell my story, what has worked for me thru the experiences that life has given me and hope that someone finds it useful.

Blogging has been a blessing in my life. Not only it has given me experiences that I never thought I would have but it led me to amazing friends, it is a creative outlet completely separate from my job which as a creative I think it is necessary, and it really has bonded me and my hubby.

Speaking of hubby; I probably don't give him enough credit. He is the other half of this blog, he grew a passion for photography that started because he wanted to help me take my blog photos. He has been my biggest fan and main supporter since day one. Thank you my love.

To all of my readers who have been following my crazy life thru out-of-state moves, wedding planning, broken friendships, long distance relationships, etc. THANK YOU! If it wasn't for you guys, the blog would not be what it is today. I really hope it keeps growing and evolving and hope that you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy creating each post!
