Some of you may know that sadly my mom and I don’t live on
the same state. It's not easy being away from her
because we are pretty close and pretty much have the same personality. It been
more than 12 years since I left home, and it kills me that my parents are growing
old and I don’t get to enjoy more time with them. Also, I have to say I am
probably not the best daughter (!!!) Ever since I got married life just got
200% busier and keeping in contact with them is a challenge. That is why
whenever I get a chance to talk to them, I try to make the most of it.
This time around we decided to do a little self-pampering
while we catch up over FaceTime! Mom used the Ponds Rejuveness AntiAging FaceCream, while she looks amazing for her age (she just turned 64!!) she has been
specially loving the added Collagen in it and she uses it daily as her
moisturizer. Fun fact - my mom used to be an esthetician so she really knows
her face creams!
I, on the other hand, picked up the Clarant B3 Dark SpotCorrector. I used to have REALLY bad acne when I was a teenager and well into
my twenties. All that activity on my face ended up leaving lots of dark spots
and acne scars that I have been working on for the last couple of years. I
love this cream because it does exactly that; fights uneven skin tone and
reduces dark spots making my skin glow.
I only get to see my mom once or twice a year, so I love
when I get to catch up with her and just talk for hours -- yeah Latina moms
need HOURS to talk to you, a quick 10 min call will never suffice! I love that with the help of Pond we were able to have a Mom and Daughter day even if it wasn’t in person. I am glad technology now days makes it so easy to feel our loved ones next to
us!
