2018 started in such an amazing way! I finally am starting
to feel like I’m settling into my Minnesota life with my hubby and Milo. And it
also started with some of the things I enjoy the most; traveling. Last week I was in New York shooting some new stuff for Target.
But with traveling it also comes some worries like how to keep my skin happy and healthy while I’m on the road? Traveling takes a big toll on both our bodies and skin and I try my best to keep them both healthy. One of my secret weapons this winter has been the new Olay Whips! I have been using the Luminous line and it gives me the perfect amount of radiance without the shine- my skin can get pretty oily. So, what make it so special? Well, for starters the texture of it is like nothing I’ve felt before, almost like a velvet soft feeling. It also helps to minimize the appearance of pores and I am all up for it!
A lot of people have big hesitations with moisturizers and
even more when they have oily skin like me. They think that a moisturizer is
just going to help the oil building on their skin, but they are so wrong! A
good moisturizer is not measured on how heavy it is but rather how much
moisture it provides. During the winter months, our skin needs much more TLC because
of the harsh conditions it is exposed to. When you add travel and different
temperatures you get a bad combination, which is exactly why I have been loving
Olay Whips.
I created a routine for both mornings and nights that
consist of cleaning my skin with Olay Daily Facials and moisturizing with the
Luminous Olay Whip. Planes, heaters and altitudes have taken a toll; did you
know that central heating can reduce air humidity levels to the same moisture
content as the Sahara Desert?! How crazy is that! And the craziest part is that
we don’t even realize it when we are going through it!
So, please don’t think twice about the amount of
attention your skin needs! You can get you own Olay Whips at Walgreens here and
save $5 with eSaver.
