Classic looks can vary and really what means classic to me can be totally different to you. While I love classic, I do like to put a little twist on them just to sprinkle some of my personality into it. It also helps finding balance when it comes to a really loud piece of the outfit where it still makes a statement but feel right when surrounded by classic pieces.

The one piece that I always try to keep classic is my watch! Having a timeless watch on your wrist really makes a world of a difference like this one from Fossil at Zappos. I’ve never liked trendy watches – except the right watches in the 90s which were amazing and I had a Minnie Mouse one, remember those?! – Ever since I bought my first designer watch somehow made me feel a bit more put together. Then I transitioned into big face watches, which now are my go-to more often than not.

An old school anagram watch to me really elevates any outfit and gives it so much more personality! Don’t get me wrong, smart watches are cool and all but there is something about hearing a clock ticking and having a watch just be a watch and not overwhelm you with a million other functionalities that makes it just comfortable. So, no I do not own a smart watch.
